Disney World with Princess Olivia

We just returned home from 7 days 6 nights in Orlando visiting Mickey, Minnie and Friends at Disney. The trip started off kind of rocky missed our connection out of Atlanta, and flying 12 people including 4 children 6 & under on standby is a bit crazy. Once actually making it to Orlando and boarded the Magical Express bus to head to our hotel, we were all a little cranky and alot dirtier than we started. Watching my daughter for the first time to see Cinderella's castle was worth every stain, every frustration, and every complication en route. To see her play with her cousins run through the parks, ok ride through the parks, and become totally elated with the surroundings made Disney such a magical place. Olivia's favorite part, probably the lunch with all the princesses. She took her picture with Belle, she shows it to everyone who comes over, and was visited by each of the princesses at the table where we were eating lunch. She was actually speechless for the first time in the last 2 years. Another definite favorite was her Princess Tea with Sleeping Beauty. Olivia and Alli dressed as there favorite princess, Olivia as Snow White and Alli as Belle, had there hair done and tiaras onOlivia will also brag about riding the tower of terror forever, the cliff hanging ride at Hollywood Studios that I wasnt about to get on! Everything was like magic to her and she asks me everyday if we will be going back to Disney tomorrow. My favorite part, experiencing this trip with all four generations of women in my life. An experience we will never forget for so many reasons and one we will always be ready for again!

My first blog

For some strange reason, after reading my families many blogs, I decided tonight @ 1055 pm to start blogging about my amazing little girl & her life as a princess. As most of you know on June 30, 2008 our beautiful little princess officially became Olivia Ann Graham and a member of our family forever & ever. I do believe that I am still in shock that this is a reality for Dale & I that we have this amazing little girl and we are now responsible for her for the rest of her life. Actually I am not sure that shock is the right word more like terrified. As amazing as she is there are many days when I wonder what in the heck I have gotten us all into. A little bit about her: She is 3 yrs old. She is smart, funny, mischievous, sassy, independent, beautiful with the most amazing big brown eyes.
Just an example of life with livi. She out smarts me daily & not just me. The last person that was brave enough to babysit for me, cousin Lacy, got locked out of the house by our little princess for about 10 min on purpose. No doubt the next 15 years are going to be a challenge because frankly I am surprised we both survived the first 3 yrs.
As I start this blog I hope that I can express adequately how grateful I am for the opportunity to be this amazing little girls mom & the many challenges that will entail.
